I have included some original pattern into the design

the angle i like but should change to an angle that portrays symmetry more clearly

Models are starting to look a lot more effective as im starting to find the program easier to use, and started playing around more.

 some earthy colors were added to reflect the shadow effect I had in the first sketch

 a lot different compared to first attempt, the structure looks like stair case, adding shadow will give extra depth.
