Design Principles

Examples Rhythm/Repetition

These three images all reflect a sense of rhythm and repetition, the first image the circle has been copied but made smaller repeadetly to create a sense of depth, the second image makes the eye follow the circle around, the pattern in the last image has been repeated 4 times across the page.

examples symmetry/assymetry

Symmetry

A few examples of symmetrical images, these images have a mirrored effect, they seem split in half and repeated on both sides which can include a whole mirrored picture (image 1) or parts like the shapes repeated but with a change in colour (image 2), in the 3rd image the background is symmetrical but the foreground of the woman remains asymmetrical.
